His firsthand understanding of pain inspired a career dedicated to helping patients regain function, mobility, and quality of life. Dr. Hunter specializes in interventional pain management, using advanced, minimally invasive treatments to address the root causes of pain. He earned his DO from Kansas City University and MBA from Rockhurst University, completed anesthesiology residency and served as Chief Resident at UTMB, where he is completing a pain medicine fellowship. He is actively involved in research, leadership, and innovation in pain care.
